Kenneth Oster has been the pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church since May of 2023. Kenneth’s experience includes a 22 ½ year Air Force career, over 40 years of ministry experience, and several years of business ownership in the automotive repair industry. After he retired from the Air Force, Kenneth served as a Civil Air Patrol Chaplain. Kenneth earned Doctor of Ministry at the Great Plains Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, SD. He also earned an MBA from Western Governors University and a PhD in Business Administration from Northcentral University. Kenneth authored the book, "The Complete Guide to Preserving Meat, Fish and Game: Step-by-Step Instructions to Freezing, Canning, Curing and Smoking,” and has over 300 articles published on a wide variety of internet sites. Kenneth and his wife Kay live in Republic, MO, and have been married for 2 ½ years. Kay was born and raised in Minnesota. Between the two of them they have seven children, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Kenneth and Kay have recorded their first album.
